Idol gives the finger
Anyone else watched Idol Gives Back? It was basically a bunch of mediocre musical performances mixed with celebrities emotionally blackmailing people to donate money to charity. Wow, really? Idol gives back? Awesome. I want American Idol to give me back the two hours I wasted watching the whole thing, please?
As much as the show underwhelmed me, I have to say that they're supporting some very worthy causes. Halfway through the show, Forest Whitaker showed up and talked about the malaria epidemic in Africa. He seemed like a sincere guy, and he has an Oscar, so I guess he must be a good actor (although he was terrible in Vantage Point). But he might have let his emotions go a bit out of control while trying to make his point.

Give, muthafucka!
Heh. Of course, that obscene gesture was entirely unintentional and not really funny. But I have the mental maturity of a 9-year-old kid and nothing else to blog about, so... yay.

I caught that... I wasn't happy
You know who was funny that day Rob Schneider and Robin Williams.
Also.. the Huffington post ran a sarcastic bit on the Republican-biased, "fair-and-balanced" newscast scumbags of FOX News. Jon Stewart is a god.
Part 1
Part 2 ...on the money
ROFL!!!
Great documentary! Very funny but very striking! Truly damaging to Faux news!
Robin Williams was okay
Schneider? I don't even remember what he did, but based on history, I bet he sucked.
Tee hee hee
Go Fox yourself!
All I can say is
Yay!

I didn't watch the whole thing
The only performance I saw was Fergie's number and her performance with Heart singing Barracuda. Not bad. She was doing flips and stuff. Kinda strange but all too sexy.
I also saw the beginning of Miley Cyrus's performance. It was excruciating to say the least. I don't know why this girl is so popular. Terrible raspy voice.
And she's a terrible actress too
Her comedy bit with Billy Crystal was way over the top yet still unfunny.
You're not only a chicken,
You're not only a chicken, but also a cynic. Yay! I love you already.
That Miley Cyrus part was SO not funny. What a disgrace. Puh-lease. After that scene I watched When Harry Met Sally again for the 39832573894th time to revive my love for dear ol Billy.
And the worst part is
they let her perform twice! Why? Thank god for the fast forward button.
Hasn't juice loved you since like
forever?
Chickens are lovable
Yay!
So you ended up watching it anyway!
I knew you would :-P
This is why you aren't a cat -- curiosity would have killed you!
:-(
Yeah, I guess I'm more like a mouse... I can't resist cheese.
haha
That screenshot of Whitaker just made ROLF.
And he has
such a serious demeanor too, which only makes it funnier.
