I have spent some time downloading close to a terabyte of MP3 music, new age, from the Usenet portion of the Internet. I watch what others post, obviously, and interpret the “general rules for posting,” uploading, for when I plan on “sharing” my collection. I have found, during this time, that there are artists and titles I have in my collection that were not posted, and feel confident that I will not post duplicates.

Since I am sensitive to the political side of people and their relationships accordingly, I still find myself stumble, face first, into being irritated by some, who either think or feel, they are humankind’s savior to perfection. Mind you, I couldn’t care less if they preach all they want into how the others are terrible and need fixing. I draw the line at when they actually use any kind of power to accomplish their goal.

This brings me to the title of this installment. There are two kinds of people, those that view others as goofs and need to be perfected, and those that don’t care if they are not perfect and want to be left alone. I am in the second group of people. I’ll go even further to state that I will go out of my way to let others be the same. I cannot fathom the desire of the other kind to actually busy them selves into planning governmental policies to carry out their goal to perfect society into their sense of divine social behavior.

They may not know it, but some actually do, that they actually sit in God’s chair and order human behavior according to how they understand how the others ought to be. They will deny it, but they view themselves as being perfect, it is the other kind that needs fixing. You may even say to yourself, at this point, I am being like them wanting to fix them. Not entirely true, although I do understand where that thought comes from. What is different is that all I want is to be left alone in my imperfection. What I want fixing is the apparatus, the kind of government our found fathers built, which they have contaminated, to infect me, and the like, with their brand of perfection.

When discussing this subject with those of the other kind they get offended to the suggestion that those alike and I want to be left alone. I have been told that I must think I am better than they are because their rhetoric in response communicates that “we” are in this together, and that this is a democracy not islands. Of course they haven’t the foggiest idea that this country isn’t a democracy, but instead a republic. Hence, there are arenas, or areas, of this free society that are off limits, and they are numerated in the Constitution.

I went through my high school batch's Friendster account last night, and every time I opened a page of someone I knew, realized how different everyone is now. A number of my batchmates have either gotten married, left the country, or participated in major events. I even got a batchmate that worked for my company many, many months ago.

And then I realized just how much I got disconnected from the world around me then (unintentionally or otherwise). I remember the faces, the personalities, but I never had a lot of experiences shared with them. I think I feel a twinge of regret coming on all over again...

And I’m sure the next time I’ll feel bad about things is when I find a Friendster account for my college course batch, then realize once again how detached I became from my world then.

*Sigh* but if I don't stop myself, I’m going to go nuts (nothing to do with donuts, though, I assure you). I mean, last night I went through them all for about an hour, and I felt like I could go on some more, if only I didn't have other things to worry about.

Hmm... maybe I really should get a copy of my yearbook, even if I have to pay for it _again_ (trust my high school yearbook organizers to make a complete mess of those details).

Did you ever notice that when you laugh really hard, your eyes close? Well they do. At the very least they squint. Now imagine yourself in a car. Okay good. Now imagine you have a passenger. Terrific, see how easy this is. This passenger keeps cracking jokes. You begin to laugh. Then one is really funny and you begin to crack up. And woah! There go those eyes.

I'll never look at Madonna the same way ever again. Never ever.

I started going to motels a month ago.

I started with Victoria Court. It’s probably one of the oldest of its kind, and therefore, commands the best locations and the most expensive prices.

Now typically when you drive in with a car, they will try to put you in the VIP suite. That’s very expensive. But tell them you want deluxe. It costs around php 825. It’s the lowest rate so far I got unless you come in a taxi. Yes folks, if you ride in a taxi cab you can get a cheaper room.

The next motel chain I tried was Daisy. It’s located in Pasig City. Daisy is CHEAP!!! And it has mirrors in the room so you can see yourself shagging a girl. Daisy costs around php 370 to php 410.

The last one I tried was good old ANITO. You see the owners of ANITO and Victoria Court are related, they are actually brothers. ANITO is in the same price range as VC. However, I find ANITO's service better because they will give you a discount card when you ask for it.

A discount card gives you 10 - 20% off on the room rates, depending on the motel chain.

You can also come in a motorcycle.

To me, it's only a room. The cheaper the better. [TIP: If you are a good matador, you need not worry about the ambiance. Only worry about your wallet, because the woman will demand your services if you make her feel good.]

Practise techniques at home. Watch porno. Try withdrawal (removing your sausage from the buns before the sauce comes out). :P

You know what really grinds my gears?

The maids getting TV. It reduces their already low productivity. Filipinos are generally lazy. That’s why all the multinational companies chose to set up shop elsewhere in South East Asia. Also TV is a bad influence to maids. They get ideas.

Yeah, ideas to steal the money in my wallet. Use my cell phone to pass a load to them. Not wash the utensils and the plates and the glasses properly. You get that sticky dried up flake that looks like dried booger on your glass. How’s that for improving your appetite or quenching your thirst.

Also they stare at the screen like flies to a candle. It renders them immobile. When I tell them to do something it takes twice as long. And to think that they sleep all day in their bed when they’re not doing anything.

I should be the one sleeping!!!!

Is anyone employed in Big Pharmaceuticals?

I sorta want to manufacture drugs for them, I just don't know anyone there...

I'm not sure if anyone manufactures drugs here though. Maybe generic drugs or something.

Or maybe do the packing, you know, putting the foils in the drugs. Then putting the labels for them. Yeah I think that would be better. More simpler for me, since there won't be much quality control needed to monitor.
